Reviews and Ratings
I fell in love with the cozy rooms featuring a romantic fireplace, even though some areas felt antiquated with musty odors and old bathrooms. The beautiful period furniture added a touch of charm that delighted me. The proactive service, including a guide around the premises and thoughtful gestures like healthy snacks and a recreation room, really made my stay special. The location wasn't perfect as my ocean view was not as expected, but being so close to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the coastal trail was a great bonus. The outstanding dining experience offered delicious meals, especially during breakfast, although I wished it started a bit earlier. Facilities were top-notch, providing all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Overall, a mixed bag of experiences, but definitely memorable.
My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The rooms were beautifully appointed with antiques and a fabulous bed, making it a cozy retreat. Although the tiny corner sink in the room was a bit unconventional, everything was exceptionally clean. The hotel's charm truly shines through thanks to its Cody decor and French doors leading to a lovely enclosed patio garden.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel. The ocean view from our room was breathtaking, and the antique furniture added a charming touch. The staff was incredibly friendly and even surprised us with sparkling wine and chocolate strawberries in our room. However, the room's wooden headboard creaked a bit, which was a minor annoyance. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the aquarium and Cannery Row.
